Our Projects;

A large sailboat is out of the water at a boatyard, supported by stands for maintenance or repairs. Several workers are seen working around the boat, with some appearing to clean or inspect it. The sky is clear and sunny, and there are other boats and vehicles in the background.

Rolex Middle Sea Race

Elusive 2

For two consecutive years, I have travelled to Malta in October to join the local team aboard Elusive. Collectively, the crew has over 100 Rolex Middle Sea Race finishes under their belt. I was responsible for running the bow during both events and remained on deck for every sail change, more than 50 in one edition, ensuring each manoeuvre was executed smoothly.

I also took a leading role in the boat’s preparation and pack down, carrying out tasks ranging from wet polishing the hull to re-splicing halyards and repairing sails.

Owner Representation

Outremer 51

After initially interviewing for the captain’s role on board—which, unfortunately, didn’t align with my availability—I continued to support the owner remotely. I assisted with drafting itineraries, standing orders, general guidance documents, and job lists, ultimately helping him secure the right captain for the vessel.

As with many of the professional relationships I take on, this is one that has continued to grow and strengthen over time.

Superyacht Refit

Engineering Technician

Having previously worked onboard the vessel, which is where I gained much of my marine electrical and electronic experience as an end user, I was invited back for a large Lloyd’s Register survey. During this time, I assisted the engineering team with servicing and upgrades, particularly supporting a former America’s Cup marine electrician, which proved invaluable for my development.

Seen to the left is the wiring after rerouting the vessel’s central systems, following their removal for hot works and cable management. During this process, we identified and rectified faults, improving the overall condition and reliability of the electrical circuits.
